Q: How do I sign up? What happens after I do?
A: To get a price quote and sign up, please contact us. Once you sign up you will be assigned an account manager who will work with you to setup your menus, customize the design and organization of your menu and provide training for you and any staff at your location. We walk you through the process and make it easy, whether you are a computer expert or novice.
Q: Do I have to install any hardware to use Uncorkd?
A: No, we have a completely hosted solution, which means all of the data for your restaurant is hosted by our servers in the cloud. You don’t need to purchase or install any hardware on-site. You simply use Apple iPad® devices with our Uncorkd app.
Q: Does Uncorkd work on platforms other than the iPad?
A: Uncorkd works on all versions of the Apple iPad as well as select models of Android tablets, such as the Nexus 7.
Q: Does Uncorkd require a constant WiFi internet connection to work?
A: The digital wine menu functions completely without an internet connection. So you don't have to worry about spotty connections or if the network goes down. However, you will need a wifi connection for the tablets to be updated when you change the menu.
Q: Do I need to plug in or manually download any updates on my iPads to make changes to my menu?
A: No, all changes are automatically pushed to all of your iPads when connected to a WiFi network. After you make any changes through your online portal, all changes are made in real-time on all of your iPad devices when connected to the internet.

Q: How do I secure the iPads and ensure they aren’t damaged or stolen?
A: Uncorkd provides support and instructions to ensure the iPads are locked down, preventing customers in your restaurant from browsing the internet, emailing or doing anything else on the iPads. We also help install tracking software so you can see where your iPads are at all times. We provide guidance on how best to protect the iPads to minimize and prevent damage and losses.
